The bracelet contains a 500 DPI capacitive fingerprint scanner that reads 256 unique minutiae points from any registered guardian's finger.
When a guardian places their finger on the sensor, the bracelet compares the scan against its encrypted local database in under 0.5 seconds. No internet required.
Every successful verification is time-stamped and logged to an uneditable custody chain — creating a legally admissible record of who was responsible for the child at any moment.
Up to 10 guardians can be registered. Custody transfers require both the outgoing and incoming guardian to scan, creating a cryptographic handshake.

The adult currently responsible places their finger on the bracelet's capacitive scanner. The 500 DPI sensor reads their unique ridge pattern in under 0.5 seconds.
Receiving Guardian Scans
The new guardian scans their fingerprint. The system verifies they're in the pre-approved guardian list. Anti-spoofing ensures a live finger — no photos or molds.
Transfer Logged & Alerts Rerouted
A cryptographic custody token is generated, the handoff is immutably logged with time, location, and biometrics. All alerts now route to the new guardian.
